Lauren Merriman

Lauren began dancing at age of two at a local Minnesota studio, where she competed in Tap, Jazz, and Contemporary dance. Growing up tap was always her favorite. After High School, Lauren continued to tap dance throughout college at the University of Minnesota with a student-run tap company called MinnesoTap. During this time, she was able to travel to different tap festivals to learn from a number of great artists, as well as develop her own voice. Lauren graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2019 with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, and is excited to start her third year teaching at PSOD!
