Hello Prairie School of Dance Families,
There is exciting news coming for Prairie School of Dance!
As you know, we currently offer dance classes at Prairie Lutheran Church and Grace Church. Grace Church is entering a large renovation project very soon and is unable to renew our lease. We are very grateful for the hospitality that Grace Church has offered PSOD over the past 13 years. We are thankful to continue our partnership by still hosting our PA Christmas Shows, Sacred Dance Productions, and PA Banquet at Grace Church in the coming years.
We have a great team of people helping us to find another space to continue offering quality dance instruction in a wholesome, faith-filled environment. We have been working on this since December and have some great options. We are in the final stages and will be announcing more information in the coming weeks!
Thank you for your ongoing support of Prairie School of Dance. We believe that God's hand is over this transition and, as always, He has a plan and a purpose for this move.
We will be announcing our new location with our 2023-2024 Dance Year Schedule this month! Stay tuned!

We’re excited to host our next Wednesday Wellness workshop on Wednesday, May 3rd from 4:30 - 5:30pm at Grace! This month’s topic is Stress Management!
In this workshop dancers will explore the role of both positive and negative stress in their lives, with particular focus on how stress affects physical and mental health. As busy dancers, it can be challenging to juggle the demands of school, rehearsals, and social relationships. We will discuss and experience different ways stress can be harnessed so that our bodies, hearts and minds can remain well balanced.

All dancers come in costume, light makeup, and their recital hairstyle for professional individual and class photos taken by Linhoff Photography at our Prairie Lutheran Studio location.

All Recreational and Performing Arts classes will perform in our spring recitals at EPHS PAC! Please view both your dancer’s Dress Rehearsal and Performance information for their class. Recreational classes will perform in one of the REC shows on Sunday, June 4th. Some PA classes will perform in more than one show.

Be sure you know what show your dancer is in and Purchase tickets early to save your favorite seats! (Luckily, all seats at EPHS are awesome!)
Tickets Online:
Premium Seats: $20.50 (+processing fee)
Reserved Seats: $17.50 (+processing fee)
Student Seats: $13.50 (+processing fee)
PSOD Student Seats: $10.50 (+processing fee)
2 and under sitting in a lap do not need a ticket.
Student tickets are for 18yrs and younger.
Reminder for Purchasing Tickets:
Creative Dance classes will sit in the auditorium and enjoy the show with their families. Dancers will be called up by class before the show and return to their seats when they are finished performing for the remainder of the show. This will be practiced at dress rehearsal.
Tickets for dancers in Creative Dance classes:
If dancer sits on your lap = no ticket
If dancer wants their own seat = must purchase a PSOD Dancer ticket
Dancers in 5-6yrs and older classes will meet and stay in the Backstage Dressing Room for the entire show. They will be escorted to the stage when it is their time to dance and escorted back. Dancers will be able to watch the recital on a projection screen backstage. Parents, please pick up your dancer at the Sign In table when the show is finished.
BILLING: Tuition statements are posted near the 1st of the month and CCs on file will be charged on the closest business day to the 7th of the month. May is your final payment for the 2022-2023 dance year season. We can’t wait to celebrate your dancers on stage in June!

Our Performing Arts dancers take the stage to perform in front of adjudicators and take master classes and seminars from some of the best of the best dance artists in the Twin Cities!
Spectators are welcome to come and watch the performers during the day as well as attend the Gala Performance on Saturday evening!
