Olivia Gorgas
Olivia is from Tulsa, Oklahoma where she trained at Tulsa Ballet and Theatre Arts under the direction of Pia Russo, Stephanie Murrish, Daniil Gaifullin, and Andres Figueroa. She has also attended summer intensives at Ellison Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet NYC, Oklahoma City Ballet, and DeCruz Ballet.
After graduating high school, Olivia joined BalletMet as a trainee where she performed in numerous ballets including the world premiere of Edwaard Liang’s Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, George Balanchine’s Western Symphony, and George Balanchine’s Walpurgisnacht. Currently, Olivia is an apprentice with Twin Cities Ballet. There she has already performed roles such as a friend in Coppélia and a flower demi-soloist in the Nutcracker.
Olivia's passion extends to sharing her love for ballet with others. She has been teaching for over three years and is excited for a new season with Prairie School of Dance.
