Recitals

As dance is a performing art, we do have an all school Recital in June to provide our dancers with the experience of performing on stage for family and friends.  Being in a recital provides our dancers with first hand experience of how dancing in the classroom is enhanced by costuming, lighting and stage awareness when dancing for an audience.

Performance Make-Up

Dancers are asked to wear make-up for all performances. Please reference the following list for colors.

MAKEUP: Foundation two shades darker than skin tone

LIPS: Red lipstick (L’Oreal #310 Drumbeat Red or Mary Kay Red)

CHEEKS: Pink

EYES: Light purple for lid, Darker purple or brown on crease of eye, Black eyeliner, Black mascara, Eye brow liner optional
