RECREATIONAL CLASSES

CREATIVE DANCE

• Pink, black or white leotard
• Pink, black or white footless or convertible tights
• Light pink leather ballet shoes
• Hair tied up away from face

• Any form-fitting solid color top or leotard
• Black form-fitting capris or black tights with dance shorts (no writing on shorts)
• Jazz, Hip Hop & Musical Theatre shoes – tan split sole, slip on (no lace-ups)
• Tap shoes – black patent leather
• Hair tied up away from face

• Tank/cami black leotard (no sleeves or skirt)
• Light pink tights
• Light pink leather ballet shoes
• Hair in a bun

Classes with multiple styles of Dance: What shoes do I need?

• Please have the appropriate shoes listed for each style of dance taught in your class.
• If your class includes Tap, you must also have tap shoes in addition to your ballet or jazz shoes.
• For example: If you are taking a Jazz/Tap class you will need to have both jazz and tap shoes.
• Ballet/Jazz/Tap combo class
  • Tank/cami black leotard (no sleeves or skirt)
  • Light pink or black tights
  • Black form-fitting capris or tights with dance shorts (no writing on shorts)
  • Hair in a bun or tied away from face
    • Ages 5-6 yrs:
      • Light pink leather ballet slippers
      • Black patent leather tap shoes
    • Ages 6-8 yrs, 7-10 yrs & 9-12yrs:
      • Tan split sole, slip on jazz shoes (no lace-ups)
      • Black patent leather tap shoes
• Teachers will confirm what shoes are needed for the Spring Recital by January 2012.  

PERFORMING ARTS CLASSES   

BALLET

• Tank or cami black leotard (no sleeves or skirt)
• Light pink tights
• Hair in a bun

JAZZ/TAP/SACRED

• Any solid color leotard
• Black tights or black tight capris or black tights with dance shorts (no writing on shorts)
• Hair tied up away from face

PERFORMANCE LEOTARD

• Need flesh colored camisole leotards under costumes for all performances (for modesty & quick costume changes)

BALLET – split sole leather  or canvas

           TAP – Black leather Mary Jane style  

           JAZZ – tan split sole/slip on  

BALLET – split sole leather  or canvas

           TAP – Black Oxford or “Boy” style  

           JAZZ – tan split sole/slip on  

BALLET – split sole leather  or canvas

          TAP – Black Oxford for Workshops Only  

          JAZZ – recital shoes to be determined by January by Choreographer/Instructor
